ENG about the workshop | drums-percussion

In the drums&percussion workshop you will learn about different types of drums and percussion.

* From the warm up we start with body percussion, drumming on your body, with surprisingly many different sounds. Great to do and you swing well on your own body beat.

* Part two of the workshop begins with a short introduction of different kind of music. The instruments we use include djembe's, congas, bongos, cow-bells, shakers, and drums. You will learn about the different instruments and possibilities.

* We work in groups to put together a great music piece. So you see your colleagues from another side.

* We finish the workshop with an great performance, played by all participants. Even if you are not so musically taught you will succeed, everyone will be a performing musician.

* As a encore we have a drums & percussion party where everyone is free to choose which instrument he wants to play, and we will have a great time.

* The workshop is provided in English or German language

- On request we can provide a translator for Czech language.

* The workshop takes 3 hours (2 x 1,5 hour with a short break)

* The maximum of participants is 15 musicians.

* The training is concluded with an evaluation.

After the workshop, we evaluate the workshop with the group.

Each person tells the rest of the group what their thoughts are about the workshop and his/her experiences.

Etienne also evaluates the workshop.
